Meet Dr. John Byun, M.D.
Dr. John Byun is a board certified psychiatrist with extensive experience treating both children and adults. Throughout his career, Dr. Byun has worked in diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient hospitals such as Austin State Hospital, where he provided care to some of Texas’ most critically ill patients. His holistic approach to psychiatry integrates a deep understanding of mental health complexities with a patient-centered focus, ensuring personalized care for each individual.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Byun is deeply committed to his family. He finds joy in reading, cooking, and enjoying quiet moments—whether it's going on evening walks with his family or taking in the sunset. His balance of professional dedication and personal fulfillment underscores his empathetic approach to mental health care. Dr. Byun is fluent in English and Korean.

Dr. Byun provides care to patients of all ages, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. He specializes in treating patients with Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder), and eating disorders. Up to 90 mins, $400
A comprehensive assessment including a detailed review of psychiatric symptoms, identification of treatment goals, psychoeducation, and the creation of a personalized treatment plan. Includes patient and parent interviews.
FOLLOW UP PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT
FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS
Up to 30 mins, $150
Based on your individualized treatment plan, this time will consist of a discussion around your ongoing treatment and an adjustment to plan as needed.
FOLLOW UP PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT

Up to 60 mins, $300
